ZOE by Daria Zinovatnaya, winner at the NYCxDESIGN Awards 2020!

In these difficult times for all of us, we have learned to value the good news more than ever, and to appreciate the value of work done with love while thinking about people’s well-being.

That is why today we are especially proud to announce that ZOE, a design by Daria Zinovatnaya, has been recognized with the prestigious NYCxDESIGN award, given by Interior Design Magazine. This year’s ceremony was held virtually, on Monday, May 18. During the event, which was broadcasted live on social media and hosted by Cindy Allen, editor-in-chief of Interior Design, the winning projects and products were announced, selected by a jury of industry experts.

The ZOE series, which successfully debuted during the Madrid Design Festival, has received the NYCxDESIGN award in the Residential Flooring category. Consisting of two rugs of contemporary design and artisan soul, this new collection highlights the importance of form and color and speaks of references such as Russian suprematism or the Bauhaus. The resulting compositions, KUBB and SOOL, have great visual strength and are made using different craft techniques (hand-knotted and kilim, respectively), which gives them different textures and thickness.

From the distance, but from the heart, we take this opportunity to thank this recognition and congratulate the rest of the winners. We look forward to the award ceremony that will take place in the fall, so we can all celebrate in person.

The design community is united and never stops!
