March 8, a celebration of female talent

The purpose of International Women’s Day, fighting for women’s equality, participation and empowerment, is part of GAN’s identity. Although this responsibility is pursued throughout the year and in all our processes and products, we do not want to miss the opportunity that today offers to celebrate and give visibility, once again, to those women who make GAN possible.

Thanks to the artisan women from our GAN WOMEN’S UNIT who make art with their hands and turn each one of our pieces into something unique. At GAN, we stand strong in our commitment to the progress and independence of women in northern rural India.

Thanks to Patricia Urquiola, Charlotte Lancelot, Yael Mer, Inma Bermúdez, Daria Zinovatnaya, Sofia Lagerkvist, Anna Lindgren, Rossana Hu, Claire Anne O’Brien, Dienke Dekker, Flavia del Pra, Sandra Figuerola, Alejandra Gandía-Blasco, Sara Romero, María Mengual, Ana Segovia and Paula Aloy for inundating the GAN portfolio with feminine sensibility.

Thanks to our Creative Director, Mapi Millet. She is inspiration and experience.

Thanks also to the voices of design throughout the world, to all women journalists who echo the wonderful projects created by other women.

And let’s not forget that gender equality is also a matter of progress, essential for the economy and the community. Let’s keep making a positive difference for women around the world.
