Gandia Blasco Group’s new Outdoor 2023 catalogue brings together the latest designs for outdoor spaces created by its three brands—Gandiablasco, Diabla and GAN—via three distinctive yet closely connected creative and expressive avenues.
With GAN and its innovative, contemporary take on the company’s original textile production, the pages of the Outdoor 2023 catalogue are filled with outdoor collections designed in collaboration with leading international designers and rooted in the intention to raise the value of craftsmanship through innovation. Rugs, spaces and accessories crafted in an eco-friendly way are the result of a non-negotiable commitment to durability and natural and recycled materials.
GAN OUTDOOR, contemporary craftsmanship in its purest form for enjoying the outdoors
GAN’s skill in creating evocative indoor environments through designs featuring singular aesthetics and compositional versatility has been expanding to include the outdoors for several seasons now. Today, GAN OUTDOOR offers collections that use fabrics and materials specifically adapted for outdoor environments, yet which continue to provide the comfort and aesthetic richness of an indoor space.
“The innovation in design, materials and handcrafted manufacturing techniques that is inherent to GAN’s DNA reveals its fresh, light, vibrant and durable side in GAN OUTDOOR, a line that responds to the trend that blurs the lines between indoor and outdoor spaces”.
“Just like indoors, rugs and accessories transcend the seasons and decorate outdoor spaces with style, comfort and texture”.

GAN offers a host of options for enjoying the outdoors, in both private and contract settings, with iconic collections alongside several of its most recent launches: GARDEN LAYERS, by Patricia Urquiola, DIAMOND, by Charlotte Lancelot, and GRAPY, by Kensaku Oshiro.
This range is supplemented by GAN CUSTOM, a programme that makes it possible to adapt rugs to any indoor or outdoor space and style, with virtually unlimited options in terms of colour, size, technique and shape.
Mongolian-inspired architectures and customs are the starting point for the design of the GARDEN LAYERS spaces, a collection of furniture and outdoor items with the unmistakable touch of designer Patricia Urquiola in her reinterpretation of this type of inspiration rooted in tradition. Pieces for relaxed atmospheres that manifest a clear contemporary and universal aesthetic with carefully considered references to their origins.
South of Comporta (Portugal), on the Alentejo coast, the cosy Cabana Sud is an invitation to connect with nature. In this retreat just steps from the beach, GARDEN LAYERS transfers the warmth of an interior design to the wooden decking under the sky. This collection, available in different finishes in a colourway that combines terracottas, greys, blues and greens, includes handmade rugs, mats, booster pillows, cushions and beds crafted in recycled PET, a material that transforms plastic waste into a highly durable and resistant raw material that is easy to care for and clean.
Without leaving Portugal, we arrive at La Quinta de Côrte, in Valença do Douro. The DIAMOND kilims are displayed outside the estate, undisturbed by the sun’s rays. This outdoor collection by Charlotte Lancelot for GAN once again opts for 100% recycled PET because of its outstanding characteristics and high resistance to wear and tear and moisture without sacrificing a soft and supple touch.
The designer’s idea was to create a multi-faceted coloured diamond, an effect that DIAMOND achieves by superimposing different sheer geometric figures in a play on transparency and gradients. The series includes six different models in a combination of colour palettes.
A soft and original silhouette can be spotted beneath the numerous six-metre-high concrete pillars that surround the villa designed by artist Xander Spronken in Les Useres (Castellón). This is the iconic GRAPY soft seat by Kensaku Oshiro, a perfect place to lounge by the pool of this Mediterranean retreat and enjoy the mountain views.
In its unexpected garden version, this beanbag chair with polystyrene and foam padding—which we’ve been used to seeing in colour-blocked fabrics like cotton, canvas and velvet for interiors—features new, rich, state-of-the-art technical fabrics for outdoor use. These removable upholsteries are waterproof, breathable and stain-resistant, and come in delicate geometric designs available in three shades: orange, yellow and blue.
