GAN’s innovative and contemporary approach is reflected in its new 2023 Catalog, where the visions of the best designers and the quality of handmaking in India come together.
This year, GAN presents a range of outdoor solutions settings through three new releases. MANGAS OUTDOOR, CITRUS, and SALINE are part of GAN OUTDOOR, a line of collections specifically crafted with materials ideal for outdoor use. With regard to indoor spaces, GAN unveils GIRO, designed by MUT Design, CHIMOS, by José A. Gandía-Blasco Canales, and the SUNSET rug, created by Alejandra Gandía-Blasco.
Like the rest of GAN’s collections, the new designs in the 2023 Catalog share in the compromise of minimizing their impact on the environment, starting from the initial stages of design and continuing with the careful selection of natural local materials – natural or recycled materials, but local materials – as well as minimizing or excluding the use of machinery in manufacturing.
Year after year, GAN remains true to its aim of revisiting traditional manufacturing techniques and introduce new possibilities that allow craftsmanship to evolve, making it the perfect tool to showcase the creativity of the best designers. The pages of the GAN 2023 Catalog feature rugs, entire spaces and accessories which not only highlight the value of the handmade, but are also produced in a socially and environmentally responsible manner, demonstrating GAN’s commitment to the environment in which it operates and to its community of artisans.
