We are delighted to announce that the NUANCES collection, created by Patricia Urquiola for GAN, has won the award for best design in the Floor Covering category at the Elle Deco International Design Awards. Made from discarded wool, NUANCES reinvents the use of felt, praises the natural beauty of its irregularities and plays with wavy shapes and color scales. Because of its sustainable soul and its purpose of putting innovation and design at the service of the evolution of craftsmanship, NUANCES embodies the essence of GAN.
We would like to thank everyone who contributed to bringing this collection to life, especially Patricia Urquiola, with whom we have a close relationship and whose talent, creativity and empathy keep on inspiring us.
In addition, we cannot fail to thank the great family that is ELLE DECORATION. With over 17 years of history, the EDIDA Awards constitute a unique international event in which the 25 publishers of the ELLE DECORATION international network come together to recognize excellence in the world of design within 14 categories.
